Huma graduated from Barts and The London, School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010, and she went on to complete her vocational training in a general family practice in Essex. During this year Huma completed her MJDF part 1. Having thoroughly enjoyed treating patients in the local community she continued in general practice caring for patients in London and Hertfordshire for over 10 years.
In 2012 realising her passion for treating patients in acute pain, Huma completed further training and commenced a role providing emergency dental care for the 111 Urgent Dental Care Service. She went on to become the Clinical Governance Lead in 2015 and Clinical Advisor for the service.
Huma enjoys treating patients of all ages with a calm and gentle approach. Along with general dentistry, she uses invisible orthodontics to align crowded teeth. She is an advocate of minimally invasive dentistry to preserve tooth tissue and has completed a course with restorative specialist, Mr Richarder Porter and the Smile Fast course.
In her spare time, Huma enjoys spending time with her two children aged 7 and 1.
